So there's this nice big whole theory on religions that faith is what you need, and that it's not what you believe in, it's that you believe. This is the idea of the comedic movie, Dogma. Now, comedies are meant to entertain, but it was through this movie that a message was hidden... it's all about association. They associated religion with humor, and the idea came through. Now, most people, when they see this movie, they think "oh yeah, that's a funny movie... but I'm not going to hold it to heart. I have my beliefs, and they're not going to change." What if that's the point though? What if the purpose of life is ideas, not beliefs?
